My wife walked back to the hotel and left the see through backpack and put everything in a much larger shopping bag. Is this the kind of racist behavior we can expect our children to receive as they grow up and wish to visit your park?!?!?! Grow up six flags, we are a nation of races and don't need your prejudices. So now they force her to return to her vehicle and leave all her and the children’s belongings behind. They stated the bag was a couple inches to tall. They let her in with thanks yesterday but today they decided to harass her about it. Today for instance she brought a see through backpack with her and the 2 kids so the park would have an easy time of it and be able to see anything she would have in it. My wife of over 20 years has not gone to this park once without being harassed and treated like dirt by management and park personnel. I never noticed until recently how racist this park is. We have been going here since I was a child. The current owners should be ashamed of themselves for taking such advantage and bleeding people dry. I gave this 3 star rating, should be lower, only because my grandkids had a great day. They don’t deal in cash anymore so bring credit/debit cards, or there were machines to convert cash to prepaid cards, not sure if they charge a fee but I wouldn’t be surprised. The raging river ride was improved, more decorative and added some things to get you wet while riding. There is no longer a petting zoo, Cinderella, and they removed some of the other little houses to put in more arcade games (more $). There was a huge line waiting and no staff communicated with people to let them know what was going on. However they were 1/2 hr late opening it. The park didn’t open till 11am and the desperado plunge ride was supposed to open at 12. For a poor or middle class family to try and attend this is a great hardship. Mind you if you were only 1 person ok, but when families are trying to attend this is outrageous. (I read on another review a pizza was like 50.00.

5.00 for a bottle of water, 7 for soda, 16 for a burger or chicken sand or chicken salad which doesn’t include a drink or anything. The food and drink prices are very expensive. I have heard other places are nearby cheaper as well. Just get there early as it fills quickly. Also they charge 30.00 to park in their lot, dont! There is a small sports shop right next to it, north same side as the park, where you can park for 15. To start make sure you buy tickets online as they are 1/2 the price than at the gate (35 instead of 69). I came throughout the years when it was called Storytown and the original owner made it an affordable family attraction. While we had a great day, it was the first time for 2 of the boys, I was disgusted by how much of a money trap this park has become. Took my 3 grandkids and daughter in law to the Great Escape.
